Preparation
Assemble materials:
- Clean hardboard as main work surface (> A4)
- Prints
- A4 white card
- template for initial positioning image on card
- Soft clean cloth
- Paper glue
- Ruler (30cm)
- Grease proof paper (approx A4)
Mounting
- Label card in landscape position - along bottom left edge = student number (504155), name, course, assignment number, and at bottom right corner = print number
- Write print number on its reverse side (with dry ink pen)
- Apply glue to reverse side of print, leaving a small margin at each edge (to reduce risk of glue spilling onto print during mounting)

- Replace top of glue, to reduce risk of spillage
- Align edges of white card with those of template, by holding both between hands and tapping on work surface
- Lightly place the print onto card through space in template (to enable fine tuning of its position in next step)
- Measure distance of edges of print from those of card and use this to fine tune the placement of the print onto the card
- Press print onto card with soft cloth
- Write title underneath bottom edge of print
